I'm going to be blunt: I don't believe I can work effectively with anyone affiliated with the Democratic Party. The divide between my understanding of reality and the worldview I associate with today's Democratic Party is simply too wide. I believe that gap is too great for me to establish the kind of honest, productive relationship this work requires.
That isn't a declaration that every conservative is right or every Republican has their head screwed on straight. A political label doesn't make anyone wise, virtuous, or immune to self-deception. I'm not here to flatter your opinions, validate your prejudices, or tell you what you want to hear. If your reasoning doesn't hold up, I'll challenge it—including when it's my own.
I'm looking for people who can question their assumptions, take responsibility for their choices, think independently, and pursue truth even when it's uncomfortable.
Apolitical? You're welcome here. You don't need a party affiliation or a political identity to explore faith, meaning, personal responsibility, and the person you're becoming.
I'm not trying to be everybody's cup of tea. And if you're looking for someone who will agree with you just to keep the peace, you've probably come to the wrong place.
